Plumber/Water Treatment Engineer

Commercial Plumber / Water Hygiene Technician (Legionella Compliance) – Mobile Role – Glasgow – up to £35,000 DOE An established facilities services company is seeking a Tierr 3 Water Hygiene Technician/Commercial plumber to join their team in a permanent, full-time mobile position. The role involves working across multiple locations throughout Glasgow and the wider Central Belt.

Key Responsibilities:

Working closely with the technical team, schedulers, and contract administrators to efficiently deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and remedial water hygiene/treatment works.<br />Carrying out temperature monitoring, showerhead descaling, cold water storage tank inspections and cleans.<br />Completing cooling tower cleaning and disinfection works.<br />Servicing Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs).<br />Conducting water sampling and analysis.<br />Performing LTHW system testing and analysis.<br />Dosing systems with inhibitor and biocide chemicals.<br />Undertaking cooling system testing and analysis.<br />Completing steam boiler testing and analysis.<br />Servicing water softeners and associated equipment.<br />Carrying out plumbing remedial works as required.<br />Ensuring all ACOP L8/site logbooks are accurate, compliant, and up to date when acting as Primary Technician.Person Specification: Qualified Plumber (Essential)<br />Legionella Awareness Training including knowledge of Regulations/Byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG274 and any other relevant guidance<br />Knowledge of Water Hygiene service delivery requirements based on Table 2.1 HSG274 Part 2<br />Valid driving licence<br />This role includes a DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists therefore ability to pass is essential.Salary &amp;
