Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Integrated Toolchain Lead with extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, enterprise architecture, Agile delivery governance, test automation, and integrated toolchain architecture. The ideal candidate will lead the strategy, implementation, integration, and governance of enterprise delivery tools across SAP Cloud ALM, SAP LeanIX, JIRA, JIRA Xray, and Tricentis Tosca.

This role will establish end-to-end traceability across business processes, enterprise architecture, Agile backlogs, requirements, test execution, defects, and release outcomes. The candidate will collaborate with enterprise architects, Solution Train Engineers, PMO, QA, SAP functional and technical teams, system integrators, and global stakeholders to improve delivery transparency, compliance, and transformation outcomes.

Required Technical Skills

• SAP S/4HANA Transformation: Strong experience with Greenfield and/or Brownfield implementations, SAP Activate methodology, and enterprise transformation programs.

• SAP Cloud ALM: Hands-on experience with requirements management, test management, defect tracking, monitoring, reporting, and operational visibility.

• SAP LeanIX: Enterprise architecture management, application portfolio management, business capability mapping, application dependency analysis, and meta-model governance.

• JIRA and JIRA Xray: Agile backlog management, work item workflows, test management, delivery metrics, cross-team dependencies, and integration with enterprise toolchains.

• Tricentis Tosca: Test automation, regression testing, test execution management, reusable test assets, and integration with requirements and defect management processes.

• SAFe Agile: Agile Release Trains (ARTs), PI Planning, Program Increment objectives, cross-ART dependencies, delivery governance, and execution metrics.

• Integrated Toolchain Architecture: End-to-end integrations, workflow synchronization, data mapping, traceability, tool interoperability, and reporting.

• Governance and Compliance: Toolchain operating models, access controls, audit compliance, data quality, naming conventions, templates, taxonomy, and standardized workflows.

• Executive Reporting and KPIs: Dashboards for delivery health, backlog status, testing coverage, defect leakage, release readiness, and enterprise architecture insights.

Key Responsibilities

1. Integrated Toolchain Strategy and Architecture

• Define the integrated toolchain vision, strategy, architecture, and operating model aligned with SAP Activate and SAFe delivery frameworks.

• Establish standardized processes connecting business requirements, business capabilities, enterprise architecture, Agile delivery, testing, defects, and releases.

• Drive toolchain scalability, interoperability, standardization, and adoption across global SAP transformation programs.

2. SAP Cloud ALM and SAP LeanIX

• Lead the configuration, implementation, governance, and adoption of SAP Cloud ALM for requirements, testing, defect management, monitoring, and operational reporting.

• Configure and govern SAP LeanIX for enterprise architecture repositories, business capability mapping, application portfolio insights, and application dependency analysis.

• Establish traceability between architecture elements, business capabilities, transformation requirements, and delivery outcomes.

3. JIRA, JIRA Xray, and Agile Delivery

• Govern JIRA workflows, backlog structures, work item synchronization, and delivery reporting across Agile teams and ARTs.

• Enable JIRA Xray-based test management and traceability between requirements, test cases, execution results, and defects.

• Support PI Planning, cross-team dependency management, delivery governance, and Agile execution visibility.

4. Tricentis Tosca and Test Automation

• Enable Tosca-based test automation, regression test suites, test execution, and reusable testing practices.

• Establish links between business requirements, test scenarios, automated test results, defects, and release decisions.

• Improve testing coverage, execution transparency, defect tracking, and release quality through integrated reporting.

5. Toolchain Integration and Traceability

• Design and govern integrations across SAP Cloud ALM, SAP LeanIX, JIRA, JIRA Xray, and Tricentis Tosca.

• Define synchronization rules, data mappings, integration workflows, and exception-handling processes.

• Establish end-to-end traceability from business processes and enterprise architecture through backlog items, testing, defects, and release outcomes.

6. Governance, Reporting, and Adoption

• Define tool ownership, administration responsibilities, governance cadence, release controls, change management, and access governance.

• Establish common templates, naming conventions, taxonomy, workflow standards, data quality controls, and audit-compliance practices.

• Develop executive dashboards and KPIs covering delivery health, backlog progress, test coverage, defect leakage, architecture insights, and release readiness.

• Conduct onboarding workshops, training, stakeholder reviews, and adoption sessions for global and multi-vendor teams.

• Partner with Solution Train Engineers, PMO, enterprise architects, QA, SAP Basis, security, functional teams, system integrators, and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 12–18 years of experience in SAP transformation programs, enterprise toolchain management, delivery governance, or related enterprise technology roles.

• Strong experience supporting SAP S/4HANA Greenfield and/or Brownfield transformation initiatives.

• Hands-on expertise in SAP Cloud ALM and practical experience with SAP LeanIX.

• Strong working knowledge of JIRA, JIRA Xray, and Agile backlog management.

• Experience with Tricentis Tosca test automation and regression management.

• Demonstrated experience integrating enterprise delivery tools and establishing end-to-end traceability.

• Strong understanding of SAFe Agile delivery, ARTs, PI Planning, cross-team dependencies, and governance.

• Experience defining toolchain standards, operating models, access controls, compliance processes, and executive reporting.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Ability to work with distributed global teams, system integrators, and multiple delivery vendors.

• Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading integrated toolchain implementation or governance for a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation.

• Experience integrating SAP Cloud ALM with JIRA and connecting SAP LeanIX architecture information with delivery workflows.

• Experience supporting enterprise architecture, PMO, quality engineering, and SAP delivery governance functions.

• Knowledge of enterprise reporting, KPI frameworks, audit requirements, and data governance practices.

• Experience driving tool adoption and process standardization across large, multi-vendor programs.
