Kitting Area Manager
The Kitting Area Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the subassembly and kitting areas for Metal Enclosed gear. This position will lead and support associates while ensuring production requirements are met safely, efficiently, and to established quality standards.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Direct and supervise daily subassembly and kitting operations.
• Lead, develop, and support a team of production associates.
• Coordinate labor and materials to meet production schedules.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
• Support KPI goals related to safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.
• Assist with material movement, inventory locations, and ERP transactions.
• Read and interpret mechanical prints.
• Operate forklifts, manlifts, and overhead cranes as required.
• Support continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of production or manufacturing experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Familiarity with general assembly equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to read mechanical prints.
• Ability to operate a forklift, manlift, and overhead cranes.
• Associate degree or equivalent training preferred.
• Operational Excellence and Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.

Salary:

• $65,000/year to $85,000/year
