The Role • Independently develop software components for sonar systems. • Analyze requirements, define functions, and implement them for sonar systems. • Design algorithms and evaluate their applicability within software components. • Conduct independent software component testing and monitor error analysis in the target system. • Maintain existing software components and identify opportunities for redesign. • Create specifications, design documents, and test descriptions. • Present results to various audiences during system development or acquisition phases. • Monitor technological trends and contribute to their implementation within the company. What You'll Need • University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics. • Proven experience in implementing mathematical algorithms into efficient software. • Experience in digital signal processing is a plus. • Strong knowledge and practical experience in developing software for real-time applications, particularly in C++, including modern standards, multithreading, and profiling. • Familiarity with tool-based system and software modeling (SysML, UML). • Proficiency with software development tools such as version control systems, unit testing frameworks, and build environments on Windows and Linux. • Knowledge of methods and tools in requirements engineering. • Good command of English, both written and spoken. • Team spirit, assertiveness, strong sense of responsibility, and flexibility. • Willingness to undergo a security check and undertake occasional business travel.
