Senior Public Sector Cloud Consulting Delivery Lead

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Delivery Consultant to lead complex cloud consulting engagements for public sector customers within WWPS ProServe. You will own end-to-end delivery of AWS-based solutions, from discovery and architecture through implementation and knowledge transfer. Partnering with customer and AWS stakeholders, you'll drive cloud adoption, modernization, and secure, compliant designs. You will mentor teams, apply data-driven insights, and embody AWS's customer-obsessed, innovative culture while solving large-scale challenges that impact millions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex AWS cloud solutions for public sector customers
• Conduct discovery, requirements gathering, and cloud readiness assessments
• Design secure, scalable, and compliant AWS architectures and migration plans
• Drive implementation, migration, and modernization projects to successful completion
• Collaborate with customer and AWS stakeholders to define and achieve business outcomes
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to delivery teams and customer engineers
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards in public sector environments
• Develop documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials for customers
• Use data-driven insights to optimize performance, cost, and reliability of solutions
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to best practices within WWPS Pro
