Quick overview
Job description
About the Role
Join a lean engineering team building a new internal product for an industrial real estate investment business. As the first product-focused engineer, you will own the front end and work directly with users to turn complex workflows and data into useful tools.
What You'll Do
Own and improve the front-end codebase, including refactoring early implementations and establishing a reusable design system.
Build data-rich user experiences with visualizations, maps, and AI-powered insights that support investment decisions.
Work directly with internal users to understand workflows, gather requirements, and test prototypes quickly.
Use Figma and AI tools to design, prototype, and ship product features.
Develop product ideas and help shape the roadmap with business and engineering leadership.
Partner with backend and research teammates to create tools for additional business functions.
What We're Looking For
4 to 10 years of frontend-heavy experience building and shipping production applications.
Strong experience with React and Next.js, data-intensive products, and data visualization.
Experience owning product development from scoping through deployment across substantial projects.
Background building enterprise products and complete user-facing products, not only isolated components or design systems.
Experience working with users and stakeholders to synthesize feedback and requirements.
Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools and AI coding or design tools for rapid prototyping.
Strong computer science fundamentals and at least two years at a large technology company or established growth-stage startup.

Location
