The Role

• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils from KS1 - KS5 by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report for lessons, providing regular feedback on student progress.
• Work with schools and local authorities to support disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners.
• Adapt teaching methods to be trauma-informed, creative, and flexible.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
• A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Ability to work flexibly and responsively to meet student needs.
