Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:
The QA Manager is responsible for leading the organization's quality assurance strategy for SiteMap, our organization's SaaS platform, across web, mobile, and field workflows. This role oversees quality engineering practices, test automation initiatives, AI-assisted testing capabilities, and quality governance across the software development lifecycle. Working closely with development, product, and DevOps teams, the QA Manager drives continuous improvement, maintains quality standards, and enables efficient, scalable testing processes that support business objectives and successful product releases.
Job Goals:

• Strengthen Product Quality and Release Confidence
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive quality assurance processes, testing strategies, and defect management practices that improve software reliability, reduce production issues, and support consistent, high-quality releases.
• Advance Automation and AI-Driven Testing Capabilities
  • Expand the use of automated and AI-assisted testing solutions to increase test coverage, improve testing efficiency, accelerate release cycles, and enhance overall quality outcomes.
• Build a High-Performing Quality Engineering Function
  • Develop team capabilities, foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement, and collaborate across engineering and DevOps teams to embed quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve QA strategies, standards, processes, and quality metrics.
• Lead and mentor QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Define and oversee test plans, test cases, test data management, and execution for functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Champion test automation initiatives and establish best practices for scalable, maintainable automated test frameworks.
• Leverage AI-assisted testing tools and technologies to accelerate test creation, optimize test coverage, identify defects, and improve release quality.
• Manage defect lifecycle processes, including triage, prioritization, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
• Utilize test management tools such as Xray, Jira, and related platforms to maintain test traceability, reporting, and compliance.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor quality metrics, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with organizational, security, and quality standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of quality assurance experience, including leadership or team management responsibilities.
• Strong expertise in test automation frameworks, automated testing methodologies, and quality engineering best practices.
• Hands-on experience with test management platforms such as Xray, Jira, Azure DevOps Test Plans, or equivalent tools.
• Experience implementing automated testing within Agile, Scrum, and CI/CD environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools to generate test cases and / or test data.
• Experience establishing quality engineering practices in cloud-native environments.
• Experience with API, UI, integration, and performance testing tools and frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester, or equivalent are a plus.
