Tactical Network and Computer Systems Administrator

Overview Tactical Network and Computer Systems Administrator: Bowhead is seeking a Tactical Network and Computer Systems Administrator for an upcoming effort in Patuxent River, MD. The Tactical Network and Computer Systems Administrator will install, configure, maintain, and monitor weapons systems airborne and air-to-ground data communications networks, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers. This position will ensure the availability, integrity, and security of network and server resources supporting weapons systems and associated test and evaluation environments.

Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain weapons systems airborne and air-to-ground data communications networks. Monitor network, server, and system performance to ensure availability and integrity. Analyze system, sensor, network, and server resource consumption. Manage user access and system permissions. Install and upgrade systems software. Maintain software configuration management. Support network emulation, virtualization, analysis, and planning.

Coordinate network and data communications hardware and software between weapons systems networks and associated test and evaluation networks. Coordinate and oversee team tasking and monitor project progress. Participate in project planning, resource allocation, and event coordination. Qualifications Advanced-level Navy Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) qualification. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. At least 3 years of experience performing at least two of the specialized functions identified for tactical network administration.

Experience administering weapons systems networks, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers. Microsoft or Linux operating system certification. Privileged Access qualification and applicable IA certification as required by the SOW.

Preferred: Certifications in both Microsoft and Linux operating system environments Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically Target salary is $ 105,000 - $165,000 commensurate with experience. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret level with SCI eligibilty. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location. #LI-JS
