Job Description

Seeking a Mechanical Bill-of-Materials Reviewer to support the team that develops the design tool infrastructure for a WWT customer's system product designs. These system products span a diverse range of applications, from supercomputers to autonomous vehicles to consumer gaming platforms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable navigating mechanical CAD data, and able to work effectively with globally distributed design teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Match the bill-of-materials of datacenter system products to their associated mechanical CAD files.
  • Work with mechanical designers to ensure correctness of the bill-of-materials to CAD association.
  • Work with the SimReady digital twin team to provide CAD data for conversion into digital twins.

Required Qualifications

  • BSEE/CS or equivalent diploma, plus 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Understanding of mechanical parts and assemblies.
  • Ability to use CAD software to view mechanical designs.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and the ability to learn complex concepts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to support and provide timely, creative solutions for system designers.
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate collaboration with team members across global design locations.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the hardware product development lifecycle (PDLC), from conceptual design through mass production.
  • Strong technical background implementing or customizing enterprise-level engineering tools (e.g., Dassault, Cadence, PTC, or similar).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with PTC Creo CAD software.
  • Knowledge of and experience with PLM systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and time zones.
