Treasury Sales - Arabic - International Bank

Excellent opportunity opens to join an International Bank's Treasury Sales desk and become a Treasury Dealer. Utilising your strong command of bothArabic and English , you will play a crucial role in managing the Treasury desk and act as the face of the bank for existing and potential customers. We are looking for someone with exposure to, and understanding of, Treasury and Foreign Exchange, and the completion of theACI Dealing Certificate is a huge plus to have.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist with Trade booking, confirmations and upkeep of the client order records.
2. Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.
3. Ensure compliance with internal risk limits and other guidelines and restrictions as appropriate.
4. Communicate with clients where and when required.
5. Develop and maintain Treasury client information database.
6. Contribute to client meeting and trip preparation, participate in meetings and minute.
7. Take part in Treasury wide system/process improvements.
8. Contribute toward implementing and uncovering ways to ensure high quality of client service is provided.
9. Ensure treasury client SLAs are delivered.
10. As appropriate, responsible for the day-to-day management of the relevant area under his/her control activities within agreed parameters
11. Candidate should demonstrate ability to cover sales desk as required, whilst maintaining SLAs.
12. Build sustainable relationships with relevant counterparts and stakeholders to ensure successful strategy execution.
13. Contribute and work with the team to achieve the agree profitability target.
14. Actively participate in bank wide events to promote Treasury internally and develop relationships with relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications/Experience

1. Fluent in both Arabic and English is essential.
2. Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a Treasury Dealing Room, or demonstrable exposure to treasury dealing operations and dealing systems.
3. Good working knowledge and practical experience of Treasury dealing systems. (Ideal)
4. Good understanding of Foreign Exchange and Treasury products is essential.
5. Understanding in how global market developments can lead to profit opportunities for treasury customers.
6. Pass ACI Dealing Certificate or equivalent within agreed period.
7. University degree in business/Finance or equivalent qualification.
