We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate physical therapist assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to help students recover from injuries, improve mobility, and enhance their overall physical function. You will play a vital role in providing quality care and addressing students' mobility goals in a school setting.
This job goes through the entire school year.
You must have a valid MA physical therapy assistant license.
Experience:
Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
Experience working with geriatric populations is preferred, particularly in skilled nursing facilities or acute care settings.
Familiarity with physical therapy practices
Strong understanding of anatomy to assist in developing appropriate treatment strategies.
Previous experience in schools will be beneficial for this position.

Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans/goals for patients.
Monitor student progress and report changes to the supervising therapist.
Educate students and their families on rehabilitation techniques and home exercise programs.
Maintain accurate documentation of progress notes.
Ensure a safe and clean environment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes.
1099 Contract position
Salary: $65-75 /hour
