The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Position and relocate containers within an intermodal yard according to operational needs.
• Conduct pre-operation and post-operation equipment inspections to maintain safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate container movements and daily tasks.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to established safety protocols and procedures.
