Practice Lead Of Data & AI : Artificial Intelligencenxzen (formerly Enzen Australia) is a global technology, consulting and engineering partner. The roleThis role, will shape, build and enable the delivery of this proposition for all our target market in Australia (utilities, power companies, airports, rail, telco). It reports to the head of Digital and collaborates closely with our NNNCo colleagues who provide digital twin, communications and IoT solutions, and with our client Partners. The role is both market facing and works internally to build our capabilities.
ResponsibilitesKey responsibilities for the role include:
- Define and execute the Asset Intelligence strategy, aligned to nxzen's business objectives and client needs.
- Identify and prioritise opportunities to expand nxzen's footprint across utilities, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
- Work with Client Partners, clients and NNNCo to develop go-to-market solutions and bids that combine analytics, IoT, and asset performance improvement.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, building trusted relationships with operations, digital, and engineering leaders.
- Support Client Partners and Delivery Directors in shaping client transformation journeys.
- Represent nxzen externally at industry events, contributing to thought leadership and brand positioning.
Service & Solution Development
- Shape the product and service roadmap, ensuring solutions are technically robust, scalable, and commercially competitive.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and trends (AI, IoT, 5G, edge computing, OT security) and translate these into practical client solutions.
Programme Delivery Oversight
- Oversee successful delivery of Asset Intelligence programmes, ensuring outcomes are met on quality, cost, and schedule.
- Implement strong governance, assurance, and performance metrics across projects.
- Ensure operational compliance with security, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Extensive experience applying IEC CIM, ISO 14224, and Ops 4.0 frameworks to support asset intelligence and operational excellence initiatives.
- Proven ability to operate across IT, OT, and ET environments, integrating diverse systems to drive digital transformation and enhance asset performance.
- Hands-on experience managing, analysing, and deriving insights from IoT devices, OT systems, Digital Twins, simulation platforms, and asset health models (e.g., NARMS, CNAIM).
- Demonstrated track record of leveraging integrated data to inform asset performance improvement, risk assessment, and strategic decision-making.
- Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to design and deliver technically robust, scalable, and commercially viable asset intelligence solutions.
