Job Scope

The Solution Specialist will be responsible for the Screen & Centrifuge Lifecycle Service Line (Screen, Trommel, Centrifuge, and Wear consumables) within the region, identifying business opportunities, generating leads and fostering client relationships to meet or exceed sales goals. Responsibilities also include supporting installation assistance, inspection, measurements on site (including wear reports), ensuring customer support and troubleshooting, and participating in customer seminars and presentations. Travel within the specific region is required to drive growth and offer technical expertise for the Service Line.

Responsibilities
  • Manage customers and their consumables throughout the product life cycle.
  • Complete audits and report on performance metrics.
  • Develop product pathways across the entire product range.
  • Assess customer needs and recommend the most suitable products or solutions.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the region (North Queensland, PNG, and SEA).
  • Provide feedback to the business regarding customer needs and market intelligence.
  • Maintain opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Monitor the industry for updates and changes in the product landscape.
  • Perform health checks on customers' sites, review data, and present feedback.
  • Work closely with product line, engineering, and sales teams across FLS.
  • Support the development of specific marketing documents highlighting primary benefits.
  • Be self driven and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Support the Proposal department on complex solutions.
Qualifications
  • Good communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Deep product and competitor knowledge to develop effective sales strategies and objection handling techniques.
  • Capable of communicating complex concepts to customers in simple terms.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
  • Physical ability to climb onto structures and stairs in industrial plants and mines.
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • Good experience within the mining/industrial industry.
  • Specific experience with heavy industrial products and/or systems is a plus.
  • Experience with screen media consumable products.
  • Mechanical background, able to read and understand mechanical drawings.
