Description
SAIC is seeking a Cyber Security Systems Administrator to join their team at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL.
The Cyber Security Systems Administrator will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:

• Performs tier one and two network and systems support in accordance with the SIE OPORD, including support to systems hosting complex operational databases, software configuration control, and system interfaces.
• Maintains and administers servers and infrastructure: monitors and controls mid-range application servers and storage devices; maintains file servers and network access; studies program operating instructions to determine equipment setup/operations; documents, analyzes, and troubleshoots system anomalies and failures to ensure optimum performance.
• Installs, configures, optimizes, and maintains operating systems and hardware: installs OS software, patches, and upgrades; configures, fine-tunes, and monitors OS and hardware; conducts server builds; performs system backups and recovery; analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves system hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure issues, including VDI components.
• Coordinates with software systems engineering and application developers to correct errors; develops and maintains SOPs for the infrastructure and VDI environment; maintains operating records such as machine performance and production reports.
• Develops in-depth knowledge of system administration processes across diverse systems and networks, including monitoring and supporting routine patches, installs, upgrades, and task orders impacting computer systems.
• Tracks, reviews, and ensures quarterly implementation of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) across systems to harden operating systems, browsers, applications, software, and networks, applying cybersecurity configuration standards to reduce vulnerabilities.
• Oversees and updates POA&Ms across HQ Campus eMASS packages, ensuring quarterly updates include current scan results, STIG implementations, and evidence of vulnerability mitigation; maintains comprehensive records of deviations from the USSOCOM Enterprise Baseline for software and hardware configurations.
• Works closely with System Owners and Planners to provide Information Assurance guidance for new projects and package renewals, and to develop, update, and sustain cybersecurity documentation, including System Security Plans, Business Continuity Plans, CONOPs, and Vulnerability Management Plans; ensures hardware/software artifacts

Qualifications
Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree and five (5) years' experience; additional four (4) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Clearance:

• Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to maintain; ship required.

Required Skills:

• Have a demonstrated ability to communicate exceptionally well both orally and in writing, as well as have a positive customer service attitude.
• Strong proactive team player
• Previous experience with configuring and implementing Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Previous experience with operating/maintaining ACAs and eMASS security systems and overseeing Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).

Required Certifications:

• Must be DoW 8140 compliant under the Work Role Code 411 - Technical Support Specialist - Intermediate level or higher.
• DoD 8570 IATII Certification.
