Job Description

Role- Senior Staff Engineer
Location- Remote
Duration: 12+ Months
 
Targeting candidates with experience at cloud-native, DevOps, or infrastructure-focused companies such as Datadog, Cloudflare, CoreWeave, DigitalOcean, Cloudera, CircleCI, Elastic, Dynatrace, or similar organizations where Kubernetes is used at scale in production environments. No targeting candidates whose Kubernetes experience is limited to UI tools, basic cluster ops, or non-engineering functions.
 
A Typical Day:
  • Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects.
  • Influence and coach a distributed team of engineers.
  • Deliver enhancements that drive the cost efficiency of our cloud platform.
  • Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Contribute to the multi-year strategy to evolve client’s Cloud Platform
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance the compute platform.
Your Expertise:
  • BS, MS or Ph.D. in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 12+ years of relevant work experience in infrastructure
  • 4+ years of expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure) and their infrastructure as a service offering (e.g. EC2).
  • Experience setting technical direction, planning, and successfully executing on large projects spanning multiple teams
  • Kubernetes Experience is required.
  • Istio/Envoy Experience is preferred.
