The Role

• Deliver comprehensive engineering support for complex defence test equipment.
• Maintain high levels of equipment availability through proactive maintenance and issue resolution.
• Design new test equipment and implement hardware improvements, including managing obsolescence.
• Develop design schemes, circuit diagrams, wiring schedules, and other crucial design documentation.
• Compile and approve engineering designs, changes, and concession actions.
• Ensure the design and safety of test equipment adheres to all relevant national and international standards.

What You'll Need

• HNC/HND/Degree qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Proven background in test equipment and hardware design.
• Experience in repairing and investigating test equipment issues.
• Understanding of creating and interpreting technical drawings and circuit diagrams.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with defence industry standards and procedures is a plus.
