DevOps Engineer

Devops Engineer - rate: 610 - 740 per day inside IR35 depening upon experience - 12 months - REMOTE

This temporary contract is inside IR35 and will require working under the direction of the client delivery manager as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will follow established delivery processes and working practices.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and be eligible for UK Security Vetting at SC level. Clearance sponsorship will be provided where required. Due to the nature of the work, candidates should meet the relevant residency requirements. If applicable, reserved post nationality restrictions will be confirmed by the client. Supporting and advising on AWS cloud implementation with specific attention to EC2, Route53, VPC, VPCE/Private Links, ELB, Secrets Manager, IAM, RDS, Control Tower
. Hands on implementation of working with GitLab CICD pipelines and shifting left security (SCA, SAST, DAST)
. Implement application CICD pipelines for containerised applications both using Docker-Compose on EC2 and EKS using ArgoCD or equivalent GitOps operator
. Infrastructure As Code using Terraform
. Configuration orchestration using Ansible
. Support of jFrog Artifactory & Xray self-managed instances
. Work to maintain GitLab on-premises server and fleet of GitLab Runners using different executors
. Writing scripts to deliver/work with our platforms, such as developing Docker/Terraform/Ansible files for a variety of systems/frameworks.
. Resource to support Out of hours 'On-Call' Service for Priority 1 and Priority 2 Incidents
