Job Description

Hi,

Position: Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Location: Plano, TX (Onsite)

Duration: 12 + Months

Interview Mode: In-Person

The ideal candidate must be capable of:

  • Designing DevSecOps architecture
  • Evaluating and selecting tools
  • Building CI/CD pipelines from scratch
  • Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Setting up OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms
  • Integrating security into delivery pipelines
  • Establishing operational standards and automation
  • Working independently with minimal guidance
Required Experience Must have hands-on experience building:
  • CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred)
  • OpenShift & Kubernetes
  • Docker and container platforms
  • On-prem bare-metal infrastructure
  • Secure deployment pipelines
Must have DevSecOps security experience:
  • SAST (Static Application Security Testing)
  • DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing)
  • Vulnerability Scanning
  • Secrets Management
  • Security automation within CI/CD
Must have experience with:
  • PostgreSQL
  • Apache Kafka
  • Python and/or Bash scripting
  • Architecture evaluations and tool selection
Strong Preference

Candidates who have:

  • Built Greenfield DevSecOps environments
  • Implemented enterprise DevSecOps frameworks
  • Led platform automation initiatives
  • Worked on on-prem Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments

Worked in highly regulated environments

This looks like a strong technical screening JD, not a generic DevOps role.

  • Senior (10 15+ years preferred)
  • Greenfield platform build experience
  • DevSecOps (not just DevOps)
  • Terraform + Kubernetes/OpenShift
  • CI/CD architecture ownership

  • On-premise infrastructure experience (not only AWS/Azure)

  • SREs without platform-building experience
  • Infrastructure support engineers
