Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure to design, implement, manage, and optimize secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The candidate will drive cloud architecture, automation, migration, security, and operational improvements while collaborating with DevOps, Development, and Infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available Azure cloud architectures.
  • Deploy and manage Azure services, including VMs, App Services, AKS, Functions, Storage, and Networking.
  • Lead cloud migration, modernization, and infrastructure optimization initiatives.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
  • Manage Azure networking, including VNet, NSG, VPN, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, and Application Gateways.
  • Implement cloud security using Entra ID, RBAC, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel.
  • Monitor infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and cloud cost optimization strategies.
  • Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of overall IT experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Azure experience.
  • Strong experience with Azure Compute, Networking, Storage, and Identity services.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
  • Experience with Azure monitoring, security, and governance.
  • Understanding of cloud architecture, disaster recovery, and high availability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oil & Gas industry experience.
  • Azure certifications: AZ-305, AZ-104, or AZ-400.
  • Exposure to AWS/Google Cloud Platform and multi-cloud environments.
  • Experience with FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and enterprise cloud transformation.
  • Knowledge of microservices and API architecture.
