Cloud Software Engineer - TS/SCI w/ Poly with Security Clearance

Required Qualifications * Ability to design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems
* Experience in developing software using languages such as Java, Python.
* Excellent programming skills to ensure the proper interpretation and implementation of code.
* Documented experience working with data and relational mapping.
* Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
* Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements and cost efficiencies.
* Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with customer best practices and guidance.
* Demonstrated experience working with Agile Scrum based development team.
* Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on customer needs
* Experience with DevOps/Platforms: Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.), Docker, Ansible. * Documented experience with open-source technology, software development and system engineering.
* Demonstrated experience utilizing DevOps tools, such as GitHub and Jenkins, to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery
* Strong understanding of web services, API, REST.
* Demonstrated experience working with Agile Scrum based development team Desired Qualifications * Familiar with Assessment & Authorization process and associated artifact collection process
* Familiarization with Hadoop distributed file systems (HDFS)
* Background utilizing JIRA for documentation and tracking of software development tasks
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: * Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
* Location: Herndon, VA
* Hours: Contract core hours, 9am - 3pm
* Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
