Magento Architect

A rapidly growing cloud consulting organization is seeking a Magento Subject Matter Expert (Adobe Commerce) to support and guide ecommerce initiatives for a portfolio of enterprise clients, with a strong presence in the financial services sector. This full time opportunity offers the chance to work alongside cloud architects, application development teams, and business stakeholders to modernize and optimize complex Magento environments running on AWS.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to be the go to expert for Adobe Commerce strategy, architecture, and implementation. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce
• Strong understanding of Magento architecture, modules, themes, and extensions
• Experience leading Magento implementations, upgrades, and migrations
• Expertise with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience integrating third party services, payment platforms, and APIs
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services and deployment best practices
• Experience with Git based source control workflows
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and technical teams
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Adobe Commerce certifications
• Experience supporting ecommerce platforms for financial services organizations
• Knowledge of cloud native architectures and container technologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Redis, and Varnish
• Consulting or client facing experience
• Leadership or mentoring experience
