Location: London - 4 days per week on-site
Rate: £900 - £1000 per day Inside IR35
Clearance: Active DV Clearance

I'm currently recruiting for an Enterprise Data Architect to join a Defence programme, providing architectural leadership across data architecture, governance, platforms and AI-enabling capabilities.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, enterprise architects, data governance and engineering teams to define and evolve the organisation's enterprise data architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and evolve enterprise data architecture and target-state roadmaps
• Develop conceptual, logical and physical data models
• Establish enterprise-wide data standards, governance and architectural principles
• Support data platforms, metadata, data quality and data catalogue initiatives
• Maintain architecture artefacts using Sparx Enterprise Architect
• Ensure data architecture supports AI, analytics and knowledge graph capabilities
• Work with senior business, technical and military stakeholders

Required Experience:

• Strong Enterprise Data Architecture experience
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data architectures
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, governance and metadata
• Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect
• Knowledge of TOGAF, ArchiMate and/or NAF
• Experience within government, defence, military or highly regulated environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Desirable:

• NAF/MODAF experience
• Cloud architecture experience
• Data mesh, data fabric, MDM or knowledge graph experience
• DAMA/CDMP or ArchiMate certification
