Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Copilot Subject Matter Expert (SME) Architect / Lead with 12 22 years of overall IT experience and strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Copilot setup, configuration, administration, connectors, integrations, and enterprise deployment.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio / Microsoft 365 Copilot, conversational AI, custom and standard connectors, APIs, data integration, and Microsoft Power Platform.

A key requirement is proven experience setting up and configuring Copilot connectors with enterprise applications such as Veeva, Workday, and other business systems.

The candidate should be able to work closely with business and technical teams to define Copilot architecture, configure integrations, develop conversational experiences, and establish scalable enterprise AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, deploy, and administer Microsoft Copilot solutions for enterprise environments.
  • Provide hands-on expertise with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
  • Configure Copilot environments, connectors, authentication, governance, security, and enterprise deployment.
  • Develop and configure standard and custom connectors for enterprise applications.
  • Integrate Microsoft Copilot with enterprise platforms such as Veeva, Workday, and other business applications.
  • Design and implement conversational AI experiences using trigger phrases, intent recognition, entities, slot filling, and conversation state management.
  • Configure adaptive cards, variables, generative answers, custom prompts, tools, connectors, and agent flows.
  • Implement multi-agent orchestration, skills, and advanced conversational capabilities.
  • Design and implement API-based integrations using REST services and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Work with OAuth, authentication mechanisms, Microsoft Graph, Azure services, and enterprise security controls.
  • Develop scalable data integration solutions connecting Copilot with internal and external enterprise systems.
  • Leverage Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps, to build workflows and business solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and IT teams to understand requirements and translate them into Copilot solutions.
  • Establish best practices for Copilot configuration, connector development, governance, monitoring, observability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot integration, connector, authentication, and Copilot configuration issues.
  • Evaluate new Copilot capabilities and identify opportunities to improve enterprise automation and user experience.
  • Ensure Copilot solutions meet enterprise security, compliance, scalability, and performance requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development and implementation teams.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of Copilot initiatives from architecture and design through implementation and deployment.

Required Qualifications

  • 12 22 years of overall IT experience.
  • 2 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Copilot Studio, or Microsoft 365 Copilot.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Copilot setup, configuration, administration, governance, observability, and enterprise deployment.
  • 2 3 years of experience in conversational AI development.
  • Strong understanding of trigger phrases, intent recognition, entities, slot filling, adaptive cards, variables, and conversation state management.
  • Experience with generative answers, custom prompts, tools, connectors, and agent flows.
  • Experience with multi-agent orchestration and skills.
  • 3+ years of experience creating and configuring standard and custom connectors.
  • Proven experience integrating Copilot with enterprise applications, preferably Veeva and Workday.
  • 5+ years of experience with APIs, REST services, OAuth, authentication, and data integration patterns.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Graph and Azure services.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security and authentication controls.
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • 2 3 years of experience with Python is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise application integrations and data flows.
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing Microsoft Copilot solutions within large enterprise environments.
  • Experience with Veeva and Workday integrations.
  • Experience developing custom connectors and API integrations.
  • Experience with Azure-based services and Microsoft Graph.
  • Experience with enterprise AI governance and security.
  • Experience with Power Automate workflows and Power Apps.
  • Experience with Python-based integrations or automation.
  • Experience leading Copilot architecture and enterprise AI transformation initiatives.
