IT - DTD - Senior Professional, Application Development

Bring your Transportation Management expertise to a high-impact SAP S/4HANA 2025 upgrade initiative focused on keeping logistics operations running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on testing, functional configuration, and cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Responsibilities

• Support the TCA system upgrade and SAP S/4HANA 2025 transition with a focus on Transportation Management processes
• Review release notes, simplification items, and related documentation to assess functional impacts to TM workflows
• Validate end-to-end logistics and transportation business processes through testing and functional configuration
• Identify, analyze, and help resolve defects through structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Partner with application development, integration, testing, and change management teams to coordinate upgrade activities
• Help maintain uninterrupted shipping and logistics operations during the transition period
• Support retrofit efforts, deployment projects, and dual maintenance activities as needed
• Ensure freight planning, carrier selection, and shipment processes remain effective and reliable throughout the upgrade

Skills

• Experience with SAP Transportation Management and related logistics processes
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA upgrade impacts and functional assessment practices
• Hands-on experience with testing, integration validation, and functional configuration
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and support defect resolution without coding
• Experience working across multiple teams and coordinating technical and business stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Clear communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to support critical operations in a structured and dependable way

Preferred Skills

• Experience with system retrofits or dual maintenance during platform upgrades
• Exposure to SAP release documentation and simplification item reviews
• Background in enterprise logistics, shipping, or freight operations
• Familiarity with change management practices during system transitions
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment
