Job Title: BI Analytics Developer

Location: Ashburn, VA (Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior BI & Analytics Engineer with strong expertise in Tableau, Looker, BigQuery, and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-scale analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building interactive dashboards, semantic data models, and self-service analytics platforms while leveraging modern cloud-based data architectures. Experience with AI/ML-driven analytics and predictive insights is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau and Looker.
Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable analytics solutions.
Build and optimize data models, semantic layers, and metrics definitions to support enterprise reporting needs.
Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and datasets within Google BigQuery.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to design and implement scalable analytics pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
Create self-service analytics capabilities that enable business users to access trusted and actionable insights.
Ensure data quality, governance, consistency, and reporting accuracy across all analytics platforms.
Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and business performance improvements.
Integrate AI/ML insights into reporting solutions, enabling predictive analytics and intelligent decision-making.
Work closely with business leaders, product teams, and data scientists to drive data-driven strategies.
Develop executive-level dashboards and KPI scorecards for senior leadership.
Document reporting standards, data dictionaries, and dashboard best practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Visualization.
Expert-level experience with Tableau.
Expert-level experience with Looker / Looker Studio.
Strong experience with Google BigQuery.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
Advanced SQL development and query optimization skills.
Experience designing enterprise reporting solutions and data models.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AI/ML, predictive analytics, and data science initiatives.
Knowledge of Vertex AI, AutoML, or other cloud-based machine learning platforms.
Experience working with Python for analytics and automation.
Familiarity with data orchestration and transformation tools such as Airflow or dbt.
Experience supporting executive leadership and strategic business reporting.
