Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager in Hollywood, FL to oversee all aspects of residential construction projects from planning through completion. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of residential development initiatives, coordinating architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders while ensuring compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, budgets, and schedules.
Responsibilities:
* Manage residential construction projects throughout all phases of planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout
* Coordinate and oversee the work of architects, engineers, consultants, and general contractors
* Ensure compliance with Florida Building Code requirements and organizational policies, procedures, and standards
* Review and administer contracts, purchase orders, procurement activities, project budgets, and billing processes
* Monitor project schedules, costs, quality, and overall performance to ensure successful project delivery
* Facilitate bidding, vendor selection, contract negotiations, and contractor management activities
* Conduct site visits and inspections to verify construction progress, quality standards, and regulatory compliance
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve project issues and mitigate risks
* Maintain project documentation, reports, and records throughout the project lifecycle
* Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to established specifications
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred
* 10+ years of experience in construction management, site development, procurement, bidding, contract administration, negotiation, and project execution
* Equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience may be considered
* Current Florida General Contractor (GC) License required or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire
* Valid Florida Driver's License required
* Strong knowledge of construction practices, project management methodologies, and building code requirements
* Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:
* Residential development and construction experience
* Experience managing large-scale, multi-phase construction projects
* Strong vendor and contractor management experience
* Proficiency with project management and construction management software
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
