IT Operations Lead
Overview
Rapidly growing organization is seeking an IT Operations Lead to oversee enterprise technology operations, infrastructure, automation initiatives, and service delivery. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building scalable processes, mentoring technical teams, and driving operational excellence through automation and modern infrastructure practices.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure support, and service delivery activities.
• Mentor and guide a growing team of IT professionals while remaining technically hands-on.
• Design, build, and maintain automation solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and end-user experience.
• Develop scripts, workflows, and self-service capabilities to reduce manual effort and streamline support operations.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Security, Engineering, and DevOps teams on cross-functional initiatives.
• Support identity management, endpoint management, SaaS administration, and enterprise technology platforms.
• Manage escalations, incident response activities, change management, and operational improvements.
• Maintain documentation, operational standards, and technology best practices.
• Assist with vendor management, budgeting, licensing, and technology lifecycle planning.

Requirements
Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership or team lead responsibilities.
• Strong background in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or IT operations.
• Demonstrated experience in scripting and automation using technologies such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar.
• Experience supporting large-scale Microsoft and cloud-based environments.
• Strong understanding of IT service management, operational processes, and infrastructure support.
• Experience working in fast-growing, high-change environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps experience supporting modern infrastructure environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and orchestration platforms.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and deployment automation.
• Experience building integrations, workflows, and enterprise automation solutions.
• Exposure to highly regulated, manufacturing, engineering, or technology-driven environments.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, compliance, and identity governance best practices.
