Senior Software Engineer - Embedded Linux

Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is hiring a Software Engineer - Embedded Linux in Cedar Rapids, Iowa!

*This is a 1 year W2 contract with benefits! *

In this role, you will develop and support embedded Linux software including BSPs, device drivers, bootloaders, kernels, and root filesystems. You will work closely with hardware teams to support board bring up, hardware integration, debugging, and root cause analysis while contributing to the design, coding, testing, and delivery of embedded systems.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Embedded Linux Software Build and support BSPs, device drivers, bootloaders, kernels, and root filesystems across various hardware platforms.
• Support Hardware Integration Perform board bring up and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues using schematics, logic analyzers, Wireshark, and other debugging tools.
• Collaborate on Software Delivery Participate in Agile planning, coding, testing, change management, and ongoing support while using tools such as Jira and Git.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of embedded Linux experience
• Strong C/C++, Bash, and Python skills
• Experience with device drivers and board bring up
