Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Go, Java, JavaScript, and Python, ensuring reliable front-end and back-end functionality, performance, and scalability.

Design and implement distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native solutions while contributing to system architecture, code reviews, technical design, and open-source technology integration.

Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows while implementing containerization and Infrastructure-as-Code practices to support secure and efficient software delivery.

Integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle by applying secure coding practices, conducting threat modeling and security design reviews, analyzing software dependencies, and coordinating remediation of security findings.

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:

5+ years of experience in enterprise software engineering and full-stack development, including hands-on development with Go and Java, application architecture, CI/CD implementation, and secure software development practices.

Technical Skills:

Go (Golang), Java, JavaScript, Python, Full-Stack Development, Microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD Pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes

Business / Domain Skills:

Experience supporting enterprise software platforms, distributed applications, and cloud-based business solutions within complex technology environments.

Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting business operations.

Experience implementing software supply chain security, secure coding practices, security reviews, vulnerability remediation, and software development lifecycle controls.

Experience supporting banking and capital markets technology or cybersecurity initiatives involving secure enterprise applications, software delivery processes, and cross-functional engineering teams.

Communication:

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation:

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong hands-on proficiency in Go and Java, with additional experience in JavaScript, Python, distributed systems, microservices, and enterprise application design.

Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins, along with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience, is required. A technical master's degree and direct software development experience in banking, capital markets, or cybersecurity environments are preferred.
