What you´ll do: 

We are seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Business Process (Senior) Consultant to join our team in Walldorf, Germany. In this role, you will drive digital transformation initiatives in source-to-contract processes while pioneering AI-driven innovations in procurement. As a senior consultant, you will combine deep technical expertise with strategic business acumen to deliver high-impact solutions for our global clients. You will work at the intersection of traditional procurement excellence and cutting-edge artificial intelligence, positioning yourself at the forefront of enterprise procurement innovation.

• Design, implement, and optimize SAP Ariba Source-to-Contract solutions for enterprise clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices
• Conduct comprehensive business process analysis and develop detailed process maps to identify optimization opportunities and automation potential
• Lead client engagements by gathering requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications, and managing stakeholder expectations throughout the implementation lifecycle
• Mentor junior consultants and provide technical guidance on SAP Ariba configurations, customizations, and integrations
• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies into procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve decision-making capabilities
• Develop and deliver training programs, documentation, and change management strategies to ensure successful system adoption
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex issues, implement solutions, and drive continuous process improvement
• Stay current with SAP Ariba product updates, AI innovations, and industry trends to provide forward-thinking recommendations to clients
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution design workshops and proposal development for new business opportunities

What you bring: 

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in SAP Ariba consulting, with demonstrated expertise in Source-to-Contract modules
• Proven track record of successfully leading multiple SAP Ariba implementations from initiation through go-live and post-implementation support
• Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain business processes, including sourcing, contracting, and supplier management
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
• Advanced proficiency in business process modeling, documentation, and optimization methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, present findings to senior stakeholders, and influence decision-making
• Strong communication skills in English and German required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI and machine learning applications in procurement and supply chain management
• Knowledge of advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making in procurement
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies in consulting engagements
• Experience with SAP Ariba integration to other enterprise systems (ERP, analytics platforms, etc.)
• Certification in SAP Ariba or related SAP modules
• Background in change management and organizational transformation initiatives
• Experience working with multinational organizations across diverse industries
