Role: React Developer
Location: New York, NY
Pay range: $60-$65
Hybrid: Yes (3x)
Duration: Contract to Hire
Interview Process:
  • 1st: Zoom (1Hr)
  • 2nd: Zoom (1Hr)

Bachelor's Degree: Computer Science (yes)
Industry Background: FS Yes, Investment Banking MASSIVE PLUS
Years of experience: (5-15 Years)
Must:
  • 5+ years of Hands on React experience
  • Ability to learn Backend (Java)
  • Hands on experience with automated frameworks - Cypress, Jasimine, Karma, Protactor, and PLAYWRITE.
  • Experience managing the deployments and build frameworks
  • Good software Development fundamentals - understand design patterns, ability to develop in a structured way
  • Good understanding with AI in a professional setting.
  • Experience working with traders (equity/derivatives) - spending time working directly with the trading desk to help traders, solicit feedback, and advocate for the platform once familiar with capabilities
  • Great communication & outgoing personality
  • Working day in and day out with Traders - communication must be sharp

Plus:
  • Java backend exp or ability/want to learn it
  • If they have not worked on a trading desk alongside traders, having good trade lifecycle exp would be needed
