The Role

• Administer and maintain the NDT/X-Ray qualification program for NDT personnel.
• Oversee training, examination, certification, and qualification records for NDT staff.
• Perform and interpret non-destructive inspections using various methods (Visual, PT, X-ray including film, CR, DDA) per aerospace and customer specifications.
• Evaluate and interpret the quality of castings to ensure compliance with company and customer specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to NDT personnel and ensure quality assurance and safety procedures are met.
• Approve NDT procedures and work instructions for technical adequacy and assume technical responsibility for the NDT facility and staff.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in NDT as a Level 2, or equivalent combination of experience and education (e.g., 2 years with a 2-year degree, or 1 year with a 4-year degree in Science or Engineering).
• Previous NAS 410 Level III certification in RT or PT is preferred.
• Experience with visual, liquid penetrant, and various X-ray inspection techniques.
• Ability to maintain qualification records, certifications, and proficiency examinations.
• Strong understanding of NDT facility operations and technical responsibility.
