Technical Delivery Lead (MS Fabric)

Experis has the pleasure to announce a partnership with a privately owned infrastructure, urban development, and construction services business delivering projects that shape communities across Australia. As they continue to invest in their digital and data capabilities, they are seeking a highly experienced and hands on Technical Delivery Lead to take ownership of their enterprise data and integration platform.

About the role

This is a critical technical leadership role for someone who enjoys combining architecture, engineering, security, and delivery. You will be the recognised technical authority for their Microsoft Fabric data warehouse, integration platform, and production environments. You will be responsible for defining architecture, security, and technical standards, while remaining hands on in the design and development of key integrations and platform capabilities.

Your Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, performance, and technical roadmap of the Fabric data warehouse.
• Make and document architectural, design, and security decisions for the data and integration platform.
• Define and enforce data modelling, integration, and security design standards.
• Review and approve technical designs produced by other developers before build.
• Maintain a prioritised, well documented integration backlog and delivery pipeline.
• Direct and quality assure the build work of the offshore automation engineers.
• Own and administer all production data and integration environments.

Required Skills

• Substantial hands on experience designing and building enterprise data and integration platforms, ideally on Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or comparable cloud data platforms.
• Proven track record architecting and delivering system integrations via APIs, connectors, and event driven patterns.
• Demonstrated ownership of production environments, including release management and environment promotion controls.
• Experience setting technical standards and reviewing or directing the work of other developers, including offshore teams.
• Sound understanding of data security, role based access, and secure by design principles.
