Job Description

Overview

Local Service Manager - Community Mental Health (Townsville). Permanent full time (76h / fortnight) with travel to Cairns and Agnes Waters. Responsible for line management, program delivery and quality assurance across multiple Community Mental Health programs.

Responsibilities
  • Work within quality and risk frameworks to ensure high quality services and protect client confidentiality.
  • Manage program budgets, support budget planning and maintain accurate financial oversight.
  • Oversee client information systems, ensuring accurate case recording, reporting and assessments within time frames.
  • Drive best practice standards and implement quality assurance frameworks to improve service outcomes.
  • Lead, supervise, build capacity and foster a positive, high performing multidisciplinary team culture.
Qualifications
  • Hold a tertiary qualification (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counseling) or equivalent experience (minimum 5years) in children and families services.
  • Demonstrated experience in team and financial management, quality compliance and supervision.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Valid Queensland driver's licence and Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
