Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with Security Clearance

Abacus Technology is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support security and information assurance activities for Hanscom AFB.  This is a full-time position. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, oversee, and maintain customer organization information assurance (IA) program that identifies IA requirements, personnel, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure servers, workstation applications, peripherals, communications devices, operating systems, and application software are properly configured for network operation, on-line, and are available to users.
• Assist the Primary Property Custodian in performing asset management responsibilities.
• Assist with compliance of local ECO and DoD requirements, training, and use of approved tracking tools/databases/SharePoint sites.
• Ensure customer organization compliance with government, Air Force, and local policies and regulation for hardware asset management.

Qualifications 5+ years experience in information security.  HS diploma or GED.  Must be Security+ CE certified.  Strong knowledge of Air Force, DoD and applicable Federal Cybersecurity Directives and Instructions.  Able to work dynamically and effectively with people on projects (formal and informal) and conduct technical interchanges as required.  Strong communication, organizational, customer service and critical thinking skills.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
