The Role

• Commissioning and testing of protection and control systems in medium, high, and extra-high voltage substations.
• Analyzing and resolving faults in protection and control technology.
• Configuring and parameterizing high-tech protection and field devices from leading manufacturers.
• Performing precise commissioning of digital protection and control technology using state-of-the-art testing equipment.
• Collaborating effectively with project management, planning, and assembly teams.
• Contributing to energy transmission, distribution, and grid connection projects for renewable energy sources.

What You'll Need

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering.
• Strong knowledge and affinity for protection/control technology, with experience in commissioning switchgear.
• Familiarity with communication standards (IEC 60870-5-101/103/104).
• Experience with configuration software like Siemens DIGSI 4/5, Schneider MICOM S1, and OMICROM Test Universe is advantageous.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills, with fluency in German.
• A valid driver's license (Class B) and willingness to travel regularly within Western Germany.
