AV Engineer with Security Clearance

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of AV Engineer experience
• Experience with:

○ AV Systems Integration
○ Audio/Video Systems Design & Installation
○ Cable Installation and Repair
○ Cisco VTC Integration
○ Microsoft Teams
○ WebEx
○ Crestron or similar AV platforms

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/schematics
• Experience independently supporting customers in fast-paced environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel as needed for installations, maintenance, and operational support
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic experience with complex AV systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and business tools
• AV/DoD-approved certification such as:

○ CTS
○ Security+
IAT / IAM / IASAE / CSSP certification Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Crestron programming experience
• BiAmp programming experience
• QSC programming experience
• Previous military or DoD environment experience
• Microsoft Visio experience
• CAD design experience
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Familiarity with Scrumban methodologies

Experience supporting senior military leadership Day-to-Day:

• Design, install, test, and maintain complex AV systems
• Support multi-network audio/video conferencing and operational systems
• Engineer and troubleshoot VTC and AV environments
• Build and install equipment racks
• Pull, terminate, and repair cabling
• Install projectors, displays, and related AV hardware
• Configure and integrate Cisco VTC, Teams, and WebEx solutions
• Conduct customer acceptance testing
• Create after-action and project completion reports
• Support emergency repairs and maintenance efforts
• Travel for scheduled installations and maintenance projects
• Interface with senior military leadership and end users

The ideal candidate will have extensive AV integration experience, strong cabling and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a high-visibility environment.
