Job Description

They are looking for a Senior SAP Functional/Business Analyst + EDW Workstream Lead + pragmatic PMO lead, capable of taking ownership of a complex integration or migration workstream and driving it from business requirements through data validation and production delivery.

Primary screening priorities: SAP functional depth, direct data migration/conversion experience, product-industry experience, familiarity with relevant SAP tables, demonstrated ownership of a 4–5+ person delivery pod, and the ability to remain sufficiently hands-on to guide requirements and data work rather than functioning solely as a project administrator.

The EDW Sr BA/PMO is a senior functional and delivery lead responsible for owning SAP-centric data, migration, and EDW workstreams from requirements through implementation. The ideal candidate combines deep SAP functional Business Analyst experience with practical delivery leadership, serving as the bridge between business stakeholders, SAP teams, data engineers, and reporting teams. This individual will directly lead a pod of approximately 4–5 resources while operating within a broader EDW organization of approximately 30 data engineers.

The candidate should bring ~5+ years of SAP experience, with strong knowledge of SAP data models, backend tables, system relationships, and at least one clearly defined functional area such as Supply Chain, Inventory, Materials, Purchasing, Order-to-Cash, Manufacturing, or Finance. Hands-on SAP data conversion and migration experience is essential, including requirements analysis, source-to-target mapping, historical data conversion, reconciliation, validation, SIT/UAT, defect resolution, and cutover support.

The role requires experience in a product-centric industry such as retail, apparel, consumer products, or manufacturing, where SAP supports tangible products, inventory, supply chain, and related operational processes. Candidates whose experience is predominantly within service-oriented industries without comparable product-data exposure are less aligned.

The individual must be capable of independently owning a workstream, including:

  • Leading and directing a team/pod of (at least) 4–5 analysts, developers, or data resources.
  • Breaking work into deliverables, assigning ownership, managing dependencies, and driving milestones.
  • Reviewing functional specifications, SAP data mappings, conversion requirements, and analyst deliverables.
  • Translating business requirements into actionable requirements for SAP, Snowflake/EDW, integration, and reporting teams.
  • Understanding SAP-to-EDW/reporting data flows and supporting reconciliation from source through downstream reporting.
  • Managing risks, issues, dependencies, defects, testing, cutover, and production stabilization.
  • Operating effectively across Jira, Freshservice, Smartsheet, Agile/Kanban, and standard delivery governance processes.
  • Communicating confidently with both technical teams and business leadership while escalating issues early and maintaining clear ownership.
