The Role

• Provide essential mechanical engineering support across diverse platform systems, equipment, and critical marine services.
• Deliver engineering input to multiple projects, including complex naval programmes and international initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define and manage platform system requirements.
• Maintain systems design integrity across varied engineering contexts, classes, and programme deployments.
• Support investigations, impact assessments, and integration analyses to facilitate evidence-based technical decisions.
• Ensure the safe and efficient implementation of design changes while maintaining configuration control and system integration.

What You'll Need

• Broad knowledge of complex platform systems within UK and international markets.
• Strong understanding of applicable industry standards and governance frameworks (e.g., CSM, LCM).
• Ability to rapidly and confidently apply mechanical engineering knowledge to a wide range of platform systems and equipment.
• Experienced professional engineer at CEng level or equivalent capability.
• Proven ability to provide effective technical guidance and influence, with experience in technical oversight and professional development.
