Senior Analyst / Associate - Infrastructure Credit - Selby Jennings

Key responsibilities

• Work on transactions end to end, including screening, due diligence, structuring, negotiation and closing
• Build and maintain project finance and cash flow models, and run sensitivities and downside cases
• Write investment committee papers and present credit recommendations to the team
• Analyse key credit risks, including sponsor quality, contracts, counterparties, regulation and construction and operational risk
• Coordinate with sponsors, co-lenders, lawyers and technical and commercial advisers
• Monitor portfolio assets, including covenant compliance, amendments, waivers and performance reporting
• Contribute to origination efforts and market analysis across European infrastructure

Candidate profile

• Currently in one of these roles:
  • Infrastructure project finance at a bank, with hands-on experience structuring and executing transactions
  • Infrastructure credit or debt on the buyside, at a debt fund, asset manager, insurer or pension investor
• Around 2-5 years' relevant experience, with a track record of closed deals
• Excellent project finance modelling and credit analysis skills
• Good knowledge of infrastructure debt documentation, security packages and financing structures
• Strong writing skills, with experience preparing credit or investment committee papers
• Strong academic background; CFA or similar is advantageous
• Proactive, meticulous and comfortable taking ownership in a lean team
• Additional European languages are a plus but not required
