Job description

Job Title: Sr Penetration Tester / Vulnerability Assessment Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Penetration Tester to identify security vulnerabilities, conduct penetration testing, and assess the security of applications, networks, and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment, ethical hacking, security testing methodologies, and industry-recognized certifications such as CEH or GIAC Certified Penetration Tester (GPEN).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct penetration testing of applications, networks, systems, and infrastructure to identify security weaknesses.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments, validate findings, and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Execute security testing using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  • Analyze security risks, prioritize vulnerabilities based on severity, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed penetration testing reports documenting findings, risks, and remediation steps.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to resolve identified vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct retesting to verify that security issues have been successfully remediated.
  • Follow established security standards, testing procedures, and ethical hacking practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience in penetration testing, ethical hacking, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Knowledge of network security, application security, operating systems, and common security vulnerabilities.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning, exploitation validation, and security reporting.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or GIAC GPEN (GIAC Penetration Tester) are preferred.
