Job Description

Saab is seeking a Deputy Chief Engineer for Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering to help lead technical development of its Surveillance radar portfolio. The role provides technical oversight, leads design and integration reviews, resolves complex hardware and software challenges, mentors engineering teams, guides customer discussions, and contributes to technical roadmaps and organizational strategy.

Responsibilities

Provide technical oversight for Surveillance products and program development.
Lead reviews and provide feedback on design, integration, and test plans.
Support resolution of complex hardware and software challenges.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to program and engineering teams.
Lead technical discussions with customers and coordinate external technical interfaces.
Define technical roadmaps and lead activities supporting organizational strategies.
