Process Documentation Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Process Documentation Analyst in Tampa, FL.

Summary

We are seeking experienced Process Documentation Analysts to support a large-scale business process documentation initiative. In this role, you will work directly with subject matter experts (SMEs) to capture, analyze, and document business processes using Microsoft Visio and established documentation standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, skilled at facilitating interviews, and experienced in translating complex operational workflows into clear, professional process maps and supporting documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and working sessions with business and technical SMEs to gather process information
• Analyze and document current-state business processes, workflows, and operational procedures
• Create detailed process flow diagrams using Microsoft Visio, adhering to established templates, standards, and formatting guidelines
• Validate documented processes with stakeholders and incorporate feedback as needed
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of all process documentation
• Collaborate with global stakeholders, primarily located within the United States
• Manage multiple documentation assignments and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience documenting business or operational processes
• Experience facilitating interviews, workshops, or discovery sessions with stakeholders and SMEs
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Visio
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation quality
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating process maps, workflow diagrams, SOPs, or operational documentation
• Experience supporting business transformation, process improvement, or operational excellence initiatives
• Familiarity with process documentation methodologies and best practices
• Ability to collaborate across multiple departments and regions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
