Data Governance Analyst

Your new companyJoin an enterprise NSW Government organisation investing heavily in its data capabilities. You'll play a key role in establishing modern data governance practices that improve data quality, trust and accessibility across the business.

Your new roleAs a Data Governance & Quality Analyst, you'll help build and embed enterprise-wide governance frameworks, policies and standards. Working across business and technology teams, you'll drive initiatives spanning data quality, metadata management, data catalogues, master data and governance reporting.

You'll also play a hands-on role implementing and uplifting governance tooling across a modern data and analytics platform, helping ensure data is reliable, discoverable and used responsibly.

What you'll need to succeed

• 5+ years' experience in Data Governance or Data Quality
• Experience building governance frameworks in large, complex environments
• Strong knowledge of data quality, metadata, data lifecycle and master data management
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Purview, Collibra, Informatica, Atlan or Alation
• Experience developing data catalogues, glossaries and governance reporting
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
