Global Employment Tax Specialist (In-house Financial Services) - Morgan McKinley

The role: Global Employment Tax Specialist
Reporting into the Head of Tax, you will have ownership of international employment tax, compliance and reporting. You will also be the primary point of contact for internal teams such as Finance, Legal and Compliance, as well as a key point of contact for external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:

• Manage and advise on matters relating to cross-border workforces including business traveller, remote workers, international assignments, secondments and transfers
• Deliver clear and concise advise to senior stakeholders relating to often complex employment tax matters
• Provide Tax advice regarding payroll and social security matters
• Identify and mitigate risks, whilst enhancing the employment tax governance framework
• Lead and coordinate Employment Tax matters regarding new country and entity launches, group reorganisations, business initiatives and new product launches
• Actively seek to improve processes, procedures and controls, particularly as the business continues to expand globally

Your experience:

• CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified
• Experience working in a Financial Services business ( ideally investment banking, capital markets or asset management), OR a client facing role in Practice working with FS clients
• UK and international employment tax experience, as well as global mobility tax advisory and compliance
