Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with a leading manufacturing business in Craigavon to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer who enjoys fault-finding, troubleshooting and resolving machinery breakdowns in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping production equipment operational, responding to breakdowns and minimising downtime across the site. The Role Carry out reactive electrical maintenance on production machinery and equipment. Diagnose electrical faults and identify the root cause of breakdowns. Troubleshoot issues involving electrical components, control systems and associated equipment. Respond to machinery breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimise production downtime. Work closely with production and engineering colleagues to maintain operational efficiency. Ensure all maintenance work is completed in line with health and safety procedures. Maintain accurate records of breakdowns, repairs and maintenance activities. Essential Criteria Previous experience in an electrical maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Experience responding to reactive maintenance issues and machinery breakdowns. Relevant electrical qualifications, such as an NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent. A proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving. Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern. Desirable Criteria Experience working within pharmaceutical, food or other regulated manufacturing environments. Knowledge of PLCs, electrical control systems and reading electrical schematics. Experience maintaining automated production equipment. Salary and Benefits £50,000 Shift allowance on top of basic salary. Rotating shifts: 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am and 6am-2:30pm.
