We are working with a growing London-based M&E design consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior / Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer looking for remote working, greater responsibility and a clear path for career progression within a growing consultancy.

The Role

You will play a key role in delivering electrical design solutions across a range of building services projects, working closely with clients, architects and other design disciplines.

At Senior/Principal level, you'll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, provide technical leadership and help shape the continued growth of the electrical design team.

Key Requirements

• Senior or Principal-level Electrical Design Engineer experience within building services
• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a relevant building services discipline
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services design
• Experience delivering projects from concept through to completion
• Experience producing and reviewing calculations, specifications and design drawings
• Ability to lead projects and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Consultancy experience within the M&E / building services sector
• Ideally working towards CEng or already professionally registered
• Commercial awareness and the ability to manage project requirements and deadlines
• Comfortable working independently within a remote team environment
• Ambition to progress into greater technical, project or leadership responsibility
