Position: .NET Developer

Location: Farmington Hills, MI (Hybrid Position)

Duration: 6 Months C2H

Position Summary

We are seeking a strong, hands-on Software Developer to join our Underwriting Product Team, responsible for both production support and new feature development. This role requires strong hands-on experience with .NET (C#) and SQL, along with a product mindset and the ability to balance the stability of existing systems with the delivery of new capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance application features supporting underwriting workflows.
• Provide production support, including troubleshooting Critical/High issues, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing sustainable fixes.
• Partner with product owners, QA, and other engineers as an active member of an agile product team.
• Build and maintain backend services using .NET (C#) and SQL, with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Develop, deploy, and support solutions leveraging AWS cloud technologies.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to on-call or support rotations as needed to ensure system stability.
• Required Skills & Experience
• Strong, hands-on experience with .NET (C#) development and SQL is required.
• Solid experience with relational database design.
• Experience building and supporting applications in AWS environments.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, curious, and able to work independently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API-first and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
